The AusAID-funded HIV Cooperation Program for Indonesia (HCPI) is seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of :

Job Qualification :
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Papua Provincial AIDS commissions and District AIDS commissions of the central highlands of Papua to develop and implement programs based on the Central Highlands Communication Strategy, with emphasis on advocacy, community mobilization and behavior change communication in the general population
- Provide technical assistance and support for counterparts and grant partners in the central highland districts of Papua
- Assist in the coordination and monitoring of progress of project activities and project partner performance.
Selection Criteria :
- A general understanding of all aspects of HIV and AIDS, STI programming with extensive experience and high level of skill in community mobilization programs for prevention of sexual transmission of HIV
- A high level of understanding of the factors influencing HIV programming in Papua and West Papua and experience of behavior change communication
- A capacity to work with both government and non-government sectors
- Experience in networking, liaison, training, institutional strengthening and monitoring
- Excellent organizational skills; good computer skills; ability to work in both English and Indonesian
