Responsibilities:
Job Description -
- Perform project site management, organisation, supervision, coordination and planning work including Work coordination, Quality control, and Scheduling to meet deadline.
- Responsible for the installation and commissioning of photovoltaic electrical equipment and systems at site through working closely with project suppliers, vendors, contractors, consultants and local Authorities..
- Lead the section to deliver all projects deliverables to the satisfaction of key customers, management and project team.
- Preparation of project management report-writing, project documentation, systems procedures and operation and maintenance manuals. Proactively provide timely and accurate status reporting to management.
- Support the drive of quality improvement processes and compliance-related processes

- Bi-annual Realising Your Potential (performance) interviews with all direct reports; motivating and inspiring staff to high levels of achievement; staff development and training.
- Project management allocation of resources, monitoring of progress and adherence to project budget, ensuring adherence with quality procedures, peer review, client liaison, project troubleshooting.
- Team Administration work planning, contribution to weekly reports, contribution to revenue forecasts, contribution to strategic planning and annual budgets, contribution to project financial reports and reviews, ensuring company SOP being followed.
- Business development liaison and maintaining good relationships with existing clients; develop relationships with new clients; manage bid processes, prepare proposals, assist with maintenance of current marketing material.
- Recommend the most cost effective procurement of parts and services
- Provide a guidance to contractor to maintain a good and safe work procedure
- Assist Business Deveopment Manager in preparation for project tendering
Requirements:
Candidate Requirements -
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil).
- Min 5 years working experiences and at least 3 years experience in managerial position
- Experience with site erection, commissioning and management would be an added advantage.
- Experience with technical design, engineering, implementing of renewable systems or IPP would be an added advantage.
- An understanding of Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and Occupational, Safety and Health Requirements and Regulations are an advantage.
- Able to work independently in multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Good communication, interpersonal & people motivating skills.
- Strong passion for continuous improvement.
- Highly customer-oriented and self-driven individual with hands-on ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Proficient in MS-Office and AutoCAD Software
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, in English and local language
- Good organizational and analytical skills
Able to travel at short notice
